I’ve been following Katie’s career since she was recognized as one of the ForbesWomen of 2021. Katie’s bold move from the corporate world to tattooing during her maternity leave is a story of daring change and new possibilities.

Empowering Women with L’Chaim
I recently came across L’Chaim, an NGO founded by the invincible Yael Schoultz. Diving deep into Prague’s underbelly, Yael has dedicated over a decade working with women in prostitution. During her time, she’s been a ray of hope for many, lending an ear to their stories, dreams, and aspirations.
“I wanted our organization to exist to encourage such women showing them that they can fulfill their dreams and that a period of time in sex work does not define the rest of their lives,” shares Yael.
What sets L’Chaim apart?
“We are one of the very few NGO’s who visit women in the brothels of Prague,” says Yael.
While advocating for safe sex work as a human right, they stand firmly against human trafficking.
“I really believe in the power of women, and I believe that every woman has the right to determine her own destiny.”
